A few weeks back, my youngest, Sarah, decided she wanted to learn to sew. About that same time, Michele announced her Primary Bee. Seemed like a perfect fit :) So here we are at the end of December and her first blocks are ready to go. I'll let her introduce herself and tell about the blocks ...
The first block is a Friendship Star for WildChild over at Butterfly Angels Quilting.
The only difficulty that i had wile making this was finding a pink... Black was easy but we could not find a good pink. But other wise i loved making it! I would love to do it again. :)
The second block is actually for January--a Log Cabin for Mowg over at muddyspring@blogspot.com.
The log cabin was a little hard for me but after a few long weeks with the help of my mom, i finished. The log cabin is not something i want to do again.
Many thanks to Sarah--hopefully she'll have many more quilting adventures to share!
Sarah, your blocks look terrific! Great job!
ReplyDeleteWikdChild will LOVE her block!! It is totally perfect!
ReplyDeleteThey both look fantastic. Congratulations on a job well done.
ReplyDeleteI love the blocks, but especially the log cabin - you did a great job Sarah. I don't think I would have done as well for my first attempt at quilting. I hope you follow in your mother's footsteps and keep the love of quilting for years to come.
ReplyDeleteSarah, your blocks look wonderful : ) and that is a pretty pink..love the little lips.
ReplyDeleteYour blocks are terrific! Mowg really likes the log cabin. Those are fun fabric choices. Happy New Year!
