I thought I'd miss this month since I was at a family reunion with ALL my sisters and their kiddos, but I got back just in time to post =) My July goal is to finish the blocks for and assemble my scrappy churn dash quilt.
I've had this little pile sitting on my side table for about a year now ...
It was my first attempt at really scrappy, and most of the chain piecing is done. I matched fabrics up from my scrap pile and went from there. There is everything from reproduction prints to modern geometrics.
I have 3 or 4 blocks already completed; I think I remember planning a 4x6 layout, so that's 24 total blocks. I think I'll probably also do a border, but I don't have any specific plans or fabric laid aside for that ...
