February OMG Goal

So, I didn't get my January goal finished ... I'm working on it slowly but surely.

Lesson Learned

Saturday evening Sarah talked me into a much-needed haircut.  For years now I've always given the same request:  trim with long layers.  Up until two days ago, I always got the haircut I wanted ...

Well, today my hair is 3 inches shorter and the layers are, well, extreme.  Oh well ...  Next time I'll be more specific about what I want done.  I guess I'll learn to live with it for now.

January OMG

It's been a while not only since I've posted, but also since I've really focused on my sewing.  This year I re-upped for another stint in Stash Bee after taking last year off.  I've also made a sort-of master list of projects to focus on this year.  For another post ...

For this month's goal I finally settled on making Sarah's Girl's Camp pillowcase.

June ALOYF Finish

About half way through the month, I really didn't think I'd meet my goal.  I still had 32 Drunkard's Path units to finish and all 4 blocks to piece together.

Sooo, I didn't meet my goal last month.  I made significant progress on marking the quilt, but I didn't even get it sandwiched.  There was a confluence of events including a big work project (read: extra hours) and spring break that means

The final challenge for this latest season of Project Quilting (season 8, challenge 6) is "Time Is Up!"  I must say, this finish isn't at all what I started out to do ...

OMG March Goal

I had so much fun working on a new project last month!  Now I want another finish =) I really want to keep the ball rolling this year. 

Last year I pieced this Slats quilt for a friend.  Since then, it's sort-of stalled.  I have all the pieces--and have had for months.

This month I will sandwich and quilt this puppy.
