Try and Try Again

Well, I didn’t quite finish my goal for last month. Almost, but not quite. It’ll keep a bit longer ... this month I turn my attention back to this t-shirt quilt that keeps getting sidelined for other squirrels.

I want to finish it for a very special occasion that is coming up at the beginning of May, so to the top of the list it goes. I have to unpick one seam, but it should all move forward from there. Once the sashing’s are done, I’m planning on two simple borders, then some very simple quilting.

So, for my OMG, I have 1-1/2 of the 3 rows of sashing to finish.  After that, two simple borders and the quilting which is a little daunting because this is shaping up as the largest quilt I'm quilting on my little Janome to date.  Not sure how that'll go, but I have some ideas, at least =)
