A couple of weeks ago, Denise over at Pieced Brain hosted an Instagram giveaway to celebrate 200 followers. (Thanks also to @debbienjeff!) Of course, I already follow her blog and IG accounts, so I tagged my friends/family and ... I won! I now have a beautiful super-sized layer cake of Hello Darling and the Farmer's Wife Sampler Quilt book.
Now, I love all things Bonnie & Camille, but I don't often purchase precuts unless I have a specific project in mind, so this is super awesome! Don't have a plan for it yet, but I'm working on it =)
This book I've been sitting on, so to speak. I love seeing all the finished quilts pop up and the progress posts from some of my favorite bloggers. It is on my bucket list, and is now one step closer to the in-progress list.
One thing I like to do with some of my soft-cover books (cookbooks, especially) is to have them spiral bound. I take them to Kinkos and have them slice the straight binding off and change it to a spiral binding. I love the way they now lay flat when open.
